Top Gear presenter Paddy McGuinness has joined the line-up of stars speaking out against being the unnamed BBC presenter who has been accused of paying a teenager more than £35,000 for explicit pictures.
The broadcaster has been thrown into chaos after allegations were made against an anonymous star, which most recently involved claims the presenter ‘broke Covid lockdown rules’ to meet another person, aged 23.
It was alleged the two met on a dating website and the presenter pressed them for almost two months to see each other in person.

Since the allegations broke, the likes of Jeremy Vine, Gary Lineker and Rylan Clark have all publicly denied being the presenter in question, and now former Take Me Out host Paddy has also weighed in.
He said in a video: ‘It’s bonkers! I even saw a couple of k**bheads saying it was me! Me!
‘There’s no way on god’s green Earth I’m paying 35 grand for a w**k. Not happening!’
He joked: ‘With how long that takes me, I work that out at about a grand a stroke.
‘That’s not value for me – not happening in the slightest.
‘I mean, I’d pay 35 grand to sue someone for defamation of character, that’s another story.
’35 grand for polishing your trumpet – the mind boggles!’
It comes after Match of the Day host Lineker also denied that the allegations had anything to do with him.
He wrote on Twitter: ‘Hate to disappoint the haters but it’s not me.’
Meanwhile, broadcaster and journalist Nicky Campbell responded after trolls mentioned him in connection to the rumours, and he revealed he has been in contact with the Met Police over the speculation.
He shared a screenshot on Twitter with the Metropolitan Police logo and the words: ‘Thank you for contacting the Metropolitan Police Service to report your crime.’
He added: ‘I think it’s important to take a stand. There’s just too many of these people on social media. Thanks for your support friends.’
