‘Our Beautiful Duchess’: Camilla launches third season of Reading Room with ‘dreamy’ video

The Reading Room launched in January 2021 after the Duchess of Cornwall used her royal platform during the pandemic to share reading lists.

Camilla matched the outfit with a gorgeous pair of white wedge heels, looking ready for a comfortable afternoon of reading.

As well as the still image, Camilla also uploaded an accompanying video to promote the Reading Room’s third season.

A camera followed the Duchess as she walked around the Highgrove Gardens, the private residence of Prince Charles and Camilla.

Fans were enthralled by the beautiful gardens and Camilla’s style.

DON’T MISS:

“Such a flattering frock on the Duchess! That video makes me want to visit Highgrove,” one user said.

Another wrote, “How dreamy! Perfect place to read a book… Your Royal Highness has a very aesthetic taste.”

The gardens appeared to have lots of different flowers, wooden structures to emulate little huts, and grand gates surrounding the Gloucestershire residence.

The birds chirping in the background offered a calming sound to accompany the ‘dreamy’ video.

“Amazing garden! Lovely space for soul recharge,” commented another member of the Reading Room, while another simply put: “Our beautiful Duchess!”

Speaking on the Reading Room as it launched on 15 January, Camilla said, “To me, reading is a great adventure.

“I’ve loved it since I was very small, and I’d love everybody else to enjoy it as much as I do.

“You can escape, and you can travel, and you can laugh, and you can cry.
“There’s every kind of emotion humans experience in a book.”

A few days later the Duchess expressed her hopes for the Reading Room.
“I think it’s for people’s enjoyment and I think they get more enjoyment if they can see little snippets of authors and why they wrote the book.

“I just think it’s because I love reading myself, and I think a lot of other people also get a huge amount of pleasure from it.

“And it’s because I’ve had letters from all over the world when I put out my original reading list – “Have you read this?” and “You might enjoy that” – it’s a lovely way of communicating.”
