OSSC Admit Card for Staff Nurse, Pharmacist, and other posts released; download here – Times of India
The preliminary exam is scheduled to take place on July 2 across Odisha in a single sitting using the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) mode. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 189 posts, and candidates will be shortlisted based on the preliminary examination, main written examination, and certificate verification.
The recruitment process for these posts consists of two stages. In stage 1, candidates will undergo a main written examination with separate technical papers for each post, except for O.T. Assistant and Pharmacist who have the same technical paper. This stage carries a maximum of 200 marks.
In stage 2, certificate verification will be conducted, with twice the number of vacancies being shortlisted based on the marks secured in the main written examination. It is important to note that there is no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of scores, and no correspondence regarding this will be entertained by the Commission.
For multiple-choice question exams, there will be a penalty for each wrong answer, with a deduction of 1/4 of the total marks. The registration process for the OSSC recruitment drive was conducted from January 28 to February 26, 2023.
The job vacancies include 80 positions for staff nurses, 40 for pharmacists, 40 for junior laboratory technicians, 9 for X-ray technicians, 8 for operation theatre assistants, 8 for ANM (for females only), and 4 for ECG technicians.
