OSHEC to sensitize colleges on academic audit – Times of India

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha State Higher Education Council (OSHEC) will conduct a daylong training-cum-workshop of the internal quality assurance cell (IQAC) coordinators of all autonomous colleges in the state on Saturday.

It will be organised before the council holds academic audits of all the higher education institutions (HEIs) under the administrative control of the higher education department.
In the programme, training will be imparted on the data they need to store and how to fill out the fields on students, faculties, infrastructure, co-scholastic areas. They will also be trained on how to fill out the excel sheets prepared for digitizing the performance of a HEI.

Academic performance audit of autonomous colleges will be taken up in the first phase in the current session. Universities and other degree colleges will be taken up thereafter, said an official of the council.
Coordinators of IQAC of 32 autonomous colleges, both government and non-government, will attend the programme. Atanu Kumar Pati and Tushar Kanti Tripathy of the OSHEC will conduct the training program. Among others, Susmit Pani and Prativa Sahoo of the council will also address the participants.
