Oscars 2023: RRR and Chhello Show among 4 Indian movies shortlisted for the Academy Awards
There has been a significant buzz around SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Pan Nalin’s Chhello Show or Last Film Show ahead of the Oscars 2023. As the Academy rolls out the shortlists for 10 categories, India seems to have a strong showing. RRR and Chhello Show have made it to the shortlist. The films are among four Indian titles to be shortlisted.
While Chhello Show is on the Oscars shortlist for Best International Feature, RRR got a nod for Naatu Naatu in the Best Music (Original Song) category. All That Breathes has also made it to the shortlist in the Best Documentary Feature category while The Elephant Whispers is in the Best Documentary Short Film category. The films are a step closer to getting nominated at the Oscars 2023.

The official nominations for the 95th Academy Awards are set to be announced on January 24, 2023. The awards will be held on March 12, 2023, in Los Angeles.
Chello Show is India’s official entry to the Oscars. The film features a young boy from a small village who discovers the magic of cinema.
