Oppo is launching its second-generation flagship TWS earbuds – the Enco X2 – in India on July 18. The earbuds will be announced alongside the Reno 8 series launch. Oppo Enco X2: Specifications, features and more
The Enco 2 TWS earbuds come in a similar cobblestone design case as their predecessor and have in-ear design earbuds with silicone ear tips. The earbuds have been co-created with Denmark-based audio company Dynaudio. They have an IP54 dust and water-resistant rating. Further, each earbud weighs 4.7 gram and with the case the weight comes at 56.5 gram.
Oppo’s latest Enco X2 earbuds feature 11mm moving coil driver units and a 6nm secondary flat diaphragm. As for the connectivity, the Enco X2 supports Bluetooth 5.2 with low latency of 94ms and transmission range of up to 10 meters. The TWS earbuds support LDC, SBC and AAC audio codecs. Furthermore, the Enco X2 uses Oppo’s proprietary super DBEE 3.0, which claims to improve sound quality and low-frequency audio. Also, they come with support for hi-res audio.
The Enco X2 comes with support for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). They offer different noise cancellation profiles – smart dynamic noise reduction, deep noise reduction, moderate noise reduction, mild noise reduction, transparency mode, enhanced vocals, and noise reduction off. As for the noise cancellation, the earbuds claim to cancel up to 45db of noise.
Oppo says that the Enco X2 can last up to 5 hours with ANC turned on, whereas turning the ANC would extend the battery life up to 6.5 hours. Including the charging case, the earbuds can last you for 20 hours, while with ANC turned off, they offer a playback time of 27 hours.
Oppo Enco X2: Expected price in India
The Oppo Enco X2 TWS earbuds were launched in China for CNY 999 (Rs 11,838). The Enco X comes at a price of Rs 9,990, so we can expect the Enco X2 to be priced relatively.
