Olly Murs’ brother reportedly missed the pop star’s wedding to Amelia Tank on Saturday following their 14-year feud.
The 39-year-old became estranged from his twin brother 14 years ago after an argument over Ben’s wedding day which caused the pair not to speak.
A representative of Olly’s has been contacted by Express.co.uk for comment.
In 2009, the Troublemaker singer skipped Ben’s nuptials and his best man duties to appear on The X Factor.
He went on to perform during the live shows and finished as a runner-up, but his newfound fame caused tension with his twin brother, Ben who he used to be inseparable with as a child.
“We had a big argument,” Olly once shared while working on The Voice.
Fighting back tears, he continued: “I feel like the next time I am going to see him is going to be at the worst place to see someone.
“It will be at someone’s (funeral) that we lose in the family. I don’t want that to be the case.
“I miss having my twin with me… This bond as a twin, it was something I was proud about and I still am.”
In 2019, Olly claimed he’d tried to reach out to Ben on their birthday, only to discover he had changed his number without telling him.
At the time of their fall out, Ben labelled Olly a “self-obsessed sell out” for focusing on his music career over his familial obligations.
Ben declared: “Our family was torn apart because of X Factor.
“It was clear that people like Simon Cowell were more important to him than me.”
Olly confirmed on The Voice: “I was on X Factor and I couldn’t make his wedding because I was on the show.”
When asked where his brother was living, the Dear Darlin’ singer admitted: “I have no idea.”
Despite finding fame, Olly claimed their relationship had been turbulent for a long time before appearing on the ITV talent show and accused Ben of using the wedding as an “excuse”.
He previously told the Sunday Times Magazine: “I don’t speak to my twin brother and that’s been extremely difficult.
Long before X Factor there were problems between Ben and his girlfriend and our family.”
Olly went on to say that he thought the wedding “was his excuse” for not having him in his life before adding “I don’t think he ever liked us as a family.”
