9:18 p.m.: The Gophers are marching right now and Ohio State doesn’t seem to have an answer as Ibrahim takes it for six yards for the first and then Morgan finds Brevyn Spann-Ford wide open for 16 yards and another first down. Minnesota ball at the Ohio State 7-yard line.

9:16 p.m: MINNESOTA INTERCEPTION. Stroud’s been inaccurate all night and has overthrown several balls. This one finally comes back to haunt him as the Gophers take over with eight minutes left at the 41.

9:03 p.m.: Minnesota stays on the field and goes for it on fourth-and-1 and it pays off big time. First real rush of the game from Ibrahim and the first real taste of why he was the conference’s top running back a year ago. Picks up 56 yards to put the Gophers at the Ohio State 15.

9:00 p.m.: After stopping Minnesota on the run once again, the Gophers are faced with fourth-and-1 on their own 29 with 10:39 left in the second. The Gophers originally opted to go for it but Ryan Day and Ohio State call their first timeout of the half.

8:57 p.m.: Seems as though Ohio State’s defensive line has caught on to Minnesota’s strategy of feeding Mohamed Ibrahim, as he’s swallowed up after a six yard gain, but he hasn’t gotten much separation nor many holes to run.

8:53 p.m.: FIELD GOAL OHIO STATE. The Buckeyes nail the 35-yard field goal as the end to their second offensive drive — a 74-yard one — with limited damage. Ohio State 10, Minnesota 0 with 12:50 left in the second.

8:37 p.m.: Ohio State’s second offensive drive of the game begins with 4:37 left in the first quarter at the Buckeyes’ own 9 yard line.

8:33 p.m.: On third-and-2 from their own 46, the Gophers opt to run the wildcat again but Ibrahim is swallowed up for a loss and Minnesota punts it inside the 10-yard line.

8:31 p.m.: Morgan’s first completion of the night is good for a first time after hitting Dylan Wright for 13 yards.

8:29 p.m.: After the Ohio State touchdown to open the scoring, Tanner Morgan and the Golden Gopher offense takes over at their 25-yard line.

8:22 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN OHIO STATE. Miyan Williams takes it 72 yards for the score to cap off a 92-yard opening drive for the Buckeyes. Ohio State 7, Minnesota 0 with 7:22 left in the first quarter.

8:21 p.m.: Stroud’s first attempt to really air it out downfield comes up just short as the ball is just out of reach of Garrett Wilson to bring up second down.

8:07 p.m.: No surprise and Minnesota goes with star running back Mohamed Ibrahim on its first play from scrimmage for minimal game before Tanner Morgan scrambles and takes it for a first down.
