‘Not sure if it’s a compliment or insult’ Eamonn Holmes left baffled by discovery
GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes, 62, has shared his surprise with fans after finding a book in a shop dedicated to him. The baffled host took to his 752,000 Instagram followers to show off the notebook, which has a front cover devoted to the Irish host and questioned whether it was a compliment or insult.
He shared a photo of the journal on what appears to be his coffee table.
The book’s cover read: “Sorry I wasn’t listening, I was thinking about Eamonn Holmes.”
Shocked Eamonn wrote alongside the post: “I kid you not this is an actual thing available in shops.
“Even I have to ask, why?

“Not sure if it’s a compliment or insult.”
His wife Ruth Langsford quickly responded with laughing emojis and proclaimed: “I want one!”
Another user named Michelle gushed: “Oh Eamonn what shop? I need one now, in fact, I need one right now.”
Sandie echoed: “Haha love it! Compliment definitely, depending on who it’s for.”
The comment prompted her to ask: “Do I look really old or something?”
Eamonn replied: “Funny, you look much older!”
Isabel looked taken aback as she retorted: “Oh, f**k…”
She paused before quickly adding: “Sorry, sorry, sorry! I stopped myself! This is what happens when you work with Eamonn!”
Following the show, Eamon took to Twitter to address the on-air blunder.
He said: “If u saw us at 9.18… no need to explain. Oops @IsabelWebster the look says it all but she, indeed ‘we’ apologise.
“Not that I have anything to apologise for but sometimes we forget we are on air. I’ll be back tomorrow, and hopefully Potty mouth Webster will be too.”
