Nokia XR20 launched in India: Specifications and other key details of military-grade phone – Times of India

Nokia XR20 has launched in India. HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, launched the rugged smartphone Nokia XR20 in the Indian market. This is first Nokia smartphone with military-grade design to launch in the country. The smartphone is claimed to survive in extreme temperatures ranging from 55-degrees to 20-degrees Celsius, 1.8-metre drops and can stay under water for one hour.

Nokia XR20 is priced at Rs 46,999. The all-new Nokia XR20 will be available across leading offline retail stores, e-commerce platforms and Nokia.com for pre-booking between October 20 to October 29, and the sales will start from October 30, 2021. Customers who pre-book the smartphone will get free gifts including Nokia Power Earbuds Lite worth Rs 3599 and one-year of screen protection plan.
Nokia XR20 specifications and colour options
Nokia XR20 is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that comes with Android 11 and offers Stock Android experience. The phone comes in in ultra-blue and granite colour options. Nokia XR20 features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top. The rugged Nokia phone runs on octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC and comes in single variant — 6GB RAM/128GB storage. The smartphone packs 4,630mAh battery with 18W wired and 15W wireless charging options.
For photos and videos, buyers will get dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera. The camera setup has Zeiss optics. On software front, there’s SpeedWarp mode and Action Cam mode. For videos, there’s OZO spatial audio with wind-noise cancellation.
Nokia XR20 comes with promise of four years of monthly security updates and major OS upgrades for up to three years.
