Nobody Saves The World Receives Frozen Hearth DLC Next Month

DrinkBox Studios has revealed an expansion pack is heading to its acclaimed indie title, Nobody Saves The World. The DLC will be titled ‘Frozen Hearth’, and was announced during Gamescom 2022. It will be available to download on September 13th for $4.99 USD across all platforms. Players can also opt for a bundle pack featuring the base game and DLC for $27.99 USD.

Developer DrinkBox unveiled a bunch of new content coming to the game with Frozen Hearth DLC, including trials, abilities, and forms. There will also be a mini-golf game that will be added to Nobody Saves The World when the downloadable pack becomes available. The development team claims that players will go through a forgotten land filled with challenges and puzzles that will push their creativity. Additionally, players who complete the upcoming DLC will receive two new forms: Killer Bee and Mechanic, which they can use in the base game.

Nobody Saves The World’s lead designer Ian Campbell went on to say: “When we shipped the original game, there were so many ideas we had to leave on the cutting room floor, and this downloadable content gave us a chance to bring some of them to life. We had a blast creating even more forms, as well as puzzles and challenges that make the most of the game’s mix-and-match customization!”

As we can understand from the official statement, the developer team’s goal revolves around expanding the game with new DLCs, where they have the chance to bring their ideas to life. Although Nobody Saves The World was first released earlier this year, DrinkBox Studios must have thought that the game needs downloadable content to help replayability.

Nobody Saves the World is a dungeon crawler, action RPG that features over 15 character forms and abilities. Each form has a distinct set of tasks that players can complete to earn rewards. With a hand-drawn cartoon style, Nobody Saves The World allows players to transform into anything they want, including eggs, dragons, slugs, and ghosts. Emphasizing creativity and fast-paced combat, the game has players improving their characters to dive into unique dungeons with the hopes of saving the world from the Calamity.

The Frozen Hearth DLC, which adds new areas, forms, challenges, and character abilities, will arrive on September 13th for $4.99 on all platforms.
