Blockbuster star Nicolas Cage is expecting a baby with his wife Riko Shibata, who is 30 years his junior.

The 57-year-old US actor and his fifth wife Riko Shibata, 27, are having their first baby together after marrying last year, a representative exclusively confirmed to People.
Cage already has sons Weston Coppola, 31, and Ka-El Coppola, 16, from previous relationships.
“The parents-to-be are elated!” the representative said.
The Ghost Rider actor tied the knot with Riko on February 16, 2021 in a “very small and intimate wedding at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas,” according to a rep for Cage.
The date was chosen as it was special to Cage, marking his late father August Coppola’s birthday.
“It’s true, and we are very happy,” Cage told People in a statement at the time.
Riko is four years younger than Cage’s eldest son. The pair have not made a statement yet.
The starry-eyed couple had earlier met in Shiga, Japan, in 2020 through mutual friends, where the actor was filming the movie Prisoners of the Ghostland.
They made their magazine cover debut as a couple when they posed for FLAUNT in October 2021. The next month, the pair walked the red carpet at the 2021 GQ Men of the Year party in West Hollywood, California.
Riko is also an actress, and the pair made their official red carpet debut in July 2021 at the premiere of Cage’s film Pig.
Cage announced the engagement on his brother Marc Coppola’s radio show in 2020, after Riko had just visited New York with him.
“She left New York and went back to Kyoto, Japan, and I went back to Nevada and I haven’t seen her for six months,” he said.
“We’re really happy together and we’re really excited to spend that time together so I finally just said ‘Look, I wanna marry you’ and we got engaged on FaceTime.”
They were first spotted together in February of 2020 when he took her to New Orleans to visit the tomb he famously purchased for himself a decade earlier.
Cage was previously married to Alice Kim from 2004 to 2016, who is the mother of his youngest son Kal-El.
He has been married four times before, including to Oscar winner Patricia Arquette from 1995 to 2001.
He also tied the knot with Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley, but they divorced after two years.
In a story that made headlines around the world, Cage was also married for just four days to Erika Koike in 2019.
He shares his eldest Weston with a woman named Christina Fulton but they never married.
