New The Last of Us Part 1 PS5 Patch Adds HBO T-Shirt Cosmetics for Ellie; New PC Patch Out as Well
Naughty Dog has released new updates for the PS5 and PC versions of The Last Us Part 1, but these patches aren’t alike.
After two PC patches last week, the team has released yet another PC patch that addresses the annoying camera jitter that players have been experiencing. This isn’t the only patch that Naughty Dog released for the game just now – after not having received a new update in seven months, the PS5 version has now also received a new patch.
The PS5 patch packs much more than today’s PC update, and one of the most interesting new additions might very well be the inclusion of new HBO in-game t-shirt cosmetics for Ellie. It’s a welcome addition to the game that will likely be appreciated by fans of the game and popular HBO series. The shirt cosmetics include a reference to Mortal Kombat II, which Ellie and Riley play in the “Left Behind” episode. Also, there’s a reference to HBO’s The Wire, featuring Lance Reddick who sadly passed away recently. You’ll find a screenshot of Ellie wearing one of the new HBO t-thirst at the top of this post. We’ve included another one below:
Aside from adding the new HBO t-shirt cosmetics, this new 1.03 patch for PlayStation 5 packs numerous bug fixes, accessibility improvements, visual improvements, some difficulty changes, and much more. For instance, this new update changes the aim sensitivity from 1-10 to 1-100, with a lower minimum sensitivity. Also, the patch increases the base fire rate of the pump shotgun, adjusts the timing of some checkpoints throughout the game, and it includes a change to rifle weapons.
We suggest reading up on the full PlayStation 5 patch notes on Naughty Dog’s official The Last of Us Part 1 support page. This page also contains patch notes for previous PS5 patches as well as the notes for the PC patches.
The Last of Us Part 1 is available worldwide now for both PlayStation 5 and PC. Unfortunately, the PC version is still in a rough state and despite several patches, Naughty Dog has some work on its hands in order to get this PC port in proper shape.
