New Spider-Man Miles Morales PC Patch 2.209 Packs CPU Optimizations For Zen 4, Intel 11th Gen and Older

Spider-Man Miles Morales pc patch 2.209 has been rolled out, offering CPU optimizations for Intel 11th Gen and older alongside AMD Ryzen 9 optimizations.

The new patch aims to offer optimizations for Intel 11th generation and older CPUs, with 8 cores or more.  In addition, the release notes mention optimizations for the Zen 4 AMD Ryzen 9 7950X and Ryzen 9 7900X CPUs. Alongside these CPU optimizations, this new patch addresses some graphic issues that can sometimes occur on AMD GPUs. Exact details about which graphic issues haven’t been mentioned in the notes. This new update also fixed a buffer overflow that could cause crashes on Windows 11. We’ve included the full release notes for this update down below:

  • Fixed a buffer overflow that could cause crashes for some players on Windows 11. 
  • Fixed several graphics issues that could occur on AMD GPUs. 
  • Addressed a bug that could cause the Supply Theft crime mission marker to disappear.

We haven’t been able to test whether this new patch does indeed improve performance with Intel 11th Gen and the named Ryzen 9 CPUs, but we’ll update you as soon as more information about this matter comes in.
