New PS5, PS4 Games Releasing This Week (September 5th – September 9th)

What’s new on the PlayStation Store this week? What new games are releasing on PS5 and PS4? It’s a somewhat quiet week, to be fair, but there’s just about enough to make it worth rolling out of bed and seeing the week through.

Biomutant is getting its native next-gen release this week after a stint as a last-gen/PC exclusive. The PS5 edition will drop of Tuesday with a whole host of improvements that take advantage of the PS5’s hardware. Will it make playing through the at-times tedious journey worthwhile? Probably. It’s a decent game, or so this scribe reckons.

If your love life is in the gutter and your Tinder game is weak, you can take on some virtual dating with Kaichu – The Kaiju Dating Sim safe in the knowledge that you’ll only be ghosted if you don’t turn your console on. Or if your cloud save fails. Or if you’re just that undateable…

Elsewhere we’ve got Disney Dreamlight Valley for those wanting some family-friendly wholesome life-sim/adventure featuring the known faces of the Disney universe.

And the last biggie for the week is the annual basketball game from 2K with NBA 2K23 which is offering up a very special Michael Jordan Edition for fans wanting to relive the legendary player’s exploits.
