What’s new on Amazon Prime Video in January 2022? The streaming service will have the world premiere of the fourth movie in the hit Hotel Transylvania animation series, plus the latest film from director George Clooney, and a new drama series about young people on the autism spectrum.

Amazon picked up this fourth movie in the hit Hotel Transylvania animated film series from Sony as a streaming exclusive. In this entry, the vampire Dracula is having issues relating to his human son-in-law Johnny. So Johnny finds a way to turn himself into a monster. However, this also changes Dracula, and many of his monster buddies, into humans. Now this group is on a quest to get everyone changed back to their original forms.

The Tender Bar (January 7)

Directed by George Clooney, this is an adaptation of J.R. Moehringer’s memoir. Tye Sheridan plays J.R. who is being raised by his single mother (Lily Rabe). He also learns some life lessons at the local bar, and particularly from one of its regulars, his uncle Charlie (Ben Affleck). The story goes into J.R’s childhood and his college years when he falls in love and perfects his writing.

As We See It (January 21)

This new eight-part series centers on three 20-something roommates on the autism spectrum in Los Angeles. They try to find what’s best in their lives while also making time for family, work, love, and even each other.
