New iPhone model now ‘almost impossible to get’ selling for £2,000 on eBay
DESPERATE iPhone fans are paying thousands more than the retail price to get hold of the latest handset.
Anyone hoping to buy the top of the range iPhone 14 Pro Max directly from Apple will have to wait until the end of next month for it to arrive.
Those who just can’t wait are paying through the roof to get hold of an iPhone now on eBay.
One impatient buyer paid almost £3,000 more than Apple’s asking price for the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Many more are going in the region of £2,000 and up, as sellers capitalise on demand.
It seems a shortage is being felt by mobile network providers as well.
The four major UK networks EE, O2, Three and Vodafone are showing expected delivery dates towards the end of October as well.
But stock for the slightly smaller iPhone 14 Pro is still very much available at the moment.
The problem appears to be the same across the pond in the US too.
All this is happening right before the iPhone 14 Plus has even hit shelves.
