Recently we reported that Netflix plans to become one of the “industry leaders” in the video game scene. And it seems like Netflix plans to deliver on that promise, as new developments of its gaming venture have been revealed.
According to a report by Bloomberg, code found by popular developer, Steve Moser, reveals that Netflix is working on a new feature that will allow users to play games directly on their television screen.
Furthermore, the code also revealed that players will be able to take advantage of their smartphones as a controller for the games they play on the TV. The code that was locked within the Netflix iOS app revealed prompts such as “A game on your TV needs a controller to play. Do you want to use this phone as a game controller?”
