Tribute Games’ beat-em up title Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is available to play on your mobile phone if you have a Netflix subscription.
The latest in the TMNT franchise is available to play as a mobile exclusive on Android and iOS for Netflix subscribers. The game is inspired by the hit animated series from 1987 and popular arcade games such as Turtles in Time.
Shredder’s Revenge is a side-scroller with a pixelated art style, that will bring you back to the days of retro gaming. Characters such as Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, April O’Neil, Master Splinter are available to play, with the ability to unlock Casey Jones later. You battle villains such as Krang, Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady in iconic locations from the franchise such as the New York City sewers as well as Dimension X.
The variety of playable characters in Shredder’s Revenge comes with their unique attributes, moves, and taunts. Players can also collect items through the stages, such as pizza boxes to heal their character and other power-ups that grant temporary bonuses.
As for gameplay, there is the Arcade Mode and the Story Mode. In Arcade Mode, you have a limited number of lives in order to complete the game in one sitting. On the other hand, Story Mode gives the option to convert accumulated points for health and other bonuses, while also having optional side content and challenges. There are also multiplayer options which can support up to six players, making this title a good choice to pick up on the go to play with others online.
