Need for Speed Most Wanted Remake Possibly Leaked by Most Wanted Actress and It’s Coming Next Year

Simone Bailly, the actress portraying the police officer in the original Need for Speed Most Wanted, might have leaked a remake of the game.

The 2005 title is often considered as one, if not the best, installment in the Need for Speed franchise, and we might very well get a proper remake of the game. At least, that’s what Bailly wrote in a now-deleted Tweet on Twitter. The post was also posted on Instagram, but this one has also been removed. Luckily, we managed to get a screenshot of what she posted. We’ve included this picture below.

“Need for Speed Most Wanted Remake is being released in 2024”, her tweet read. “Like and comment if you would like to see Cross (Dean McKenzie) and his partner (Simone Bailly) hunt down the most wanted.”

No further details were shared by Bailly. If this remake turns out to be the real deal, however, we’re pretty sure that Need for Speed fans will be happy.

Developed by Criterion Games, Need for Speed Most Wanted already received a reboot in 2012.  “Criterion is shaking up the franchise with Need for Speed Most Wanted,” said Matt Webster, then Executive Producer at Criterion Games. “This is Most Wanted for a new generation of players. We’ve brought everything we know about racing, chasing and exploration and smashed them together in a highly connected open world automotive experience. Whether driving solo or racing with friends in our amazing new multiplayer experience, Autolog fires up competition out of everything as players compete to be most wanted amongst their friends.”
