Speculation about this title has been at an all time high, especially due to the earlier reports about the game being revealed within the first two weeks of October. The official title for the game hasn’t been announced yet, so we do not know for sure whether the NFS 2022 title will be called Need for Speed: Unbound. Another thing is the release date, according to the previous report, the release date for the title has been set for December 2 ,2022, but that hasn’t been confirmed officially either.

The game’s reveal was not announced officially, there were some cryptic tweets before we got official confirmation for the reveal. User-141 asked EA and Need for Speed that he was told a reveal was set for this week, and can these guys confirm the news. To which Need for Speed replied with the ‘eyes’ emoji, which made all the players feel a reveal announcement was imminent. Codemasters also responded to the tweet stating, “Announced Need for Sp…. oh.”

Since that tweet, we have not only received official confirmation about the reveal, but also the Need for Speed Twitter account has now been decorated with new artwork, which we can only assume comes from the upcoming title. About the earlier leaks, with the car crash cartoonish effects, we do not know if they will be used in this title, players will know for sure when the reveal arrives, till then they should sit tight.
