NBS to celebrate its golden jubilee in August – Times of India

HYDERABAD: Naveena Balananda Sangham (NBS), which was established to encourage creative talents among children, will celebrate its golden jubilee celebrations with the title Naveena Baalala Swarnotsavamulu 2022. NBS is the first children’s organization started by children, for children and children from Telangana in the state.

The NBS was established on August 15, 1969, at Chikkadapally in Hyderabad. Children from Telangana residing or studying in and around Chikkadapally came together to form a friendly association to foster unity and showcase their inherent creative skills.

The Sangam has been a torch bearer since 1969 in encouraging creative talents among children – initially focusing on kids in the Chikkadpally area. Gradually, it has become very popular among kids and parents in Hyderabad with its activities. It has always been encouraging children to participate in drama, dance, singing, mono action, storytelling & writing, scientific innovations, elocution & debates and many more events helping children imbibe values and make them grow into responsible citizens.
