Larry Lamb has been dubbed “a legend” by his Strictly Come Dancing partner Nadiya Bychkova as she praised his efforts on the dance floor following health issues. The 75-year-old will showcase his moves in the Christmas Day special in the hope of winning the Glitterball trophy.
Getting the ex EastEnders star on his feet however has been “a challenge” according to Nadiya.
The 33-year-old said he had suffered from secret health issues a couple of years ago which affected his mobility.
She told The Sun: “It’s incredible he’s going to be dancing.
“It’s quite a challenge because he couldn’t walk a couple of years ago because of some health problems and some operations.

Larry and Nadiya will compete for the Glitterball trophy alongside; Rosie Ramsay and Neil Jones, Rickie Haywood-Williams and Luba Mushtuk, Alexandra Mardell and Kai Widdrington, Nicola Roberts and Giovanni Pernice and George Webster and Amy Dowden.
He said of signing up for the show: “Christmas has come early! I can’t wait to get on the dance floor and learn a brand new skill ready for all those festive parties.
“I am excited yet incredibly nervous but I know Nadiya will look after me, and I look forward to adding a bit of extra sparkle to Christmas day.”
Nadiya was paired up with Bros star Matt Goss on the main show this year.
