Nadia Bartel photo shows ex-WAG moving on with life
She’s facing court over alleged driving offences soon, but the former WAG, who was also engulfed in a snorting scandal last year, is moving on with her life.
After her embarrassing “snorting” scandal last year, you would forgive Nadia Bartel for wanting to lay low.
Especially after the former WAG was hit with another blow last week when she was summoned to face court after being accused of driving while her licence was suspended and failing to update her residential address.
However, the 36-year-old has shown she’s moving on with her life after being spotted on a coffee run in Melbourne on Wednesday.
The mum-of-two was photographed balancing a large coffee order in one hand, while talking on her mobile phone and opening her car door.
The businesswoman and entrepreneur managed to look incredibly stylish as she carried the large coffee order to her car.
Nadia opted for a pair of white line shorts with a light grey singlet, her blonde hair hanging loosely on her shoulders.
She teamed the laid-back outfit with a pair of chunky black sandals and dark shades.
Last week it was revealed the ex-wife of former Geelong superstar Jimmy Bartel was set to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on March 24 over after being pulled over by Prahran Highway Patrol police on Dandenong Road at Windsor about 12.30pm on August 25 last year.
Police allege her licence had been suspended because she had lost all of her demerit points, but the clothing designer told the Herald Sun she had not updated her address and the suspension notice went to a previous home.
“I was not aware of the suspension as communication had been sent to my previous residential address which I didn’t receive,” she said.
“I would never have driven had I been aware of the suspension and my residential details have now been updated.”
If found guilty of the two offences she could face a four-month stint in jail or a $4500 fine.
The incident occurred one week before Nadia was filmed snorting white powder from a plate at a gathering during one of Victoria’s lockdowns.
The now infamous footage saw Nadia – a fully fledged influencer – fined $5452 for breaching the state’s strict Covid-19 restrictions and cost her several sponsorship deals.
Victoria Police said she would not face criminal charges as officers had been “unable to determine what the substance on the plate was”.
She also issued a full, and grovelling apology, on her social media account.
“Hi Everyone, I have let you all down by my actions,” she wrote on social media after the white powder video emerged in September.
“I take full responsibility and I am committed to taking all necessary steps to ensure I make better choices in future.
