My side hustle makes me thousands a year… and I don’t lift a finger
A BANK worker has told how they make thousands of pounds a year thanks to a genius side hustle.
Alessandro Rossi banks so much cash that he can take himself off on multiple holidays to Spain and Italy each year.
What’s more, the 35-year-old doesn’t lift a finger to rake in up to an eye-watering £2400 a year.
He explained: “If you’re lucky enough to own something you can rent out then I’d absolutely recommend doing this.
“For me it was just a really good opportunity to get some money.”
Alessandro’s cash cow rakes in up to £200-a-month and he’s earned a whopping £7,000 in six years thanks to it.
And many Brits could be doing exactly the same, he says.
That’s because the big-bucks side hustle is two unused car parking spaces.
The banker, who doesn’t have a car, rents the spaces out for £100 each per month.
And the only work he has to do is list the spaces online.
He does this through YourParkingSpace, and insists his prices are the most competitive out there.
Alessandro said: “I charge £100 but other people in the area charge far more than that for spaces that aren’t even in a gated car park.”
Since launching his side hustle six-years-ago from his flat in Dalston, East London, he’s had around six renters.
Users vary from neighbours in need of an extra space to people commuting from afar into the area.
And he has even made some friends through the process, including a restaurateur who gave him vouchers.
His clients usually hire the spaces out for long periods of time, meaning it’s a “really useful” extra bit of income for the Italian.
He added: “It’s the kind of money that pays for a few extra little trips during the year.”
Alongside holidays to his family in Italy and partner’s homeland of Spain, the cash helps the banker pay service charges on his flat.
Reflecting on his side hustle, Alessandro added: “It’s really low maintenance and minimal admin for the amount I can earn.”
