My neighbours have 2 driveways but keep parking outside my house

A NIGHTMARE neighbour who has two driveways but instead chooses to park outside a next door house has driven a mum to breaking point.

Incredibly, the nuisance motorists have got permission to use the drives of two other houses on their street.

But despite enough room to park eight motors on four driveways – cars parked in the road outside her home end up blocking the poor mum in.

Posting on chat forum mumsnet, the anonymous mum said her neighbours are “absolutely taking the p**s” with their antics.

She blasted: “I can’t actually get my camper on my front drive and have to use the back one, and they cause a nuisance with parking our car and for our visitors.”

The “inconsiderate” parking has caused carnage for the mum’s own mother – who nearly reversed into one of the offending motors at night.

“She just couldn’t see it on the dark street, and I looked around and every drive was empty!” she wrote.

The culprits’ also stop traffic flow and even block the view of the junction, claimed the at-wits-end homeowner.

But the mum, who does not reveal where she lives, says she is torn on the issue because the offenders are “a nice family”.

But she admits the chaos is “driving me mad” as much of it is not even illegal and blasted the family for being “just so inconsiderate”.

The comments sparked a mixed response from mums, but incredibly some showed little sympathy for the victim’s situation.

One went straight on the offensive, suggesting: “I imagine your camper takes up quite a lot of space.

“Does that restrict where you can park a car?”

Another added: “Just go and knock if you can’t get your camper van in / out.”

But a third was more understanding, adding: “That all sounds really thoughtless.

“If a conversation could get them to change their ways, it would be worth it.”

While a fourth suggested every time the mum couldn’t get out she should knock their door with a big grin until they get fed up and are forced to park more thoughtfully.
