A MAN has complained on social media about his neighbours who reserve a public parking spot using traffic cones and plant pots.
Finding roadside parking if you don’t have a house with a driveway can be tricky, especially when your neighbours have more than one car.

The video was shared on TikTok by @BrothersMake and was filmed using a smartphone from the street.
It shows several cones and plant pots placed in a public parking space in front of his neighbour’s house in an attempt to reserve the space.
The person who uploaded the video claims his neighbour has an empty driveway they don’t use.
“They have a driveway that is empty, it is a public road and reserving spaces is really selfish,” wrote the man on TikTok.
The man asked TikTok: “Anyone else living near someone that thinks, he can claim a public parking space as their own by using a traffic cone and some twigs?”
Many of the people commenting on TikTok are in shock by the attitude of their neighbours after watching the video.
One said: “They think that because they own a house, they own the streets too.”
Another user said: “Move everything and park there.”
However, there are a few users who agree with the neighbour.
One user said: “Unwritten rule, the space outside your own house is yours.”
The man who uploaded the video on TikTok replied: “Never heard of it.”
Another said: “When the driveway is full, everyone should be able to park outside their own house.”
