Mum leaves note on van slamming roofer’s parking – but viewers are divided
A MUM has left a note slamming a roofer’s parking – but people are divided over her own driving.
Lauren, a mum-of-three from Bolton, took to TikTok after she said she encountered a white van man blocking her friend’s car in on the pavement outside her house.
She shared still footage appearing to show only a few inches between the back of the white van, which was partly parked on her grass verge, and the front of the burgundy car.
The van appeared to have plenty of space in front of it, with the mum claiming it had needlessly blocked her friend in.
Lauren said she left a note on the van reading: “Clearly you have difficulty parking your van.
“If you really wanted me to park in your back doors you should have just knocked.

“Hopefully you can knock a roof up better than you can park.”
Not everyone was convinced by the footage, with many pointing out that it did not show the back of Lauren’s car.
Zoe said: “Nothing wrong with that parking.
“Notice how she doesn’t show what’s behind her car?”
Another person said: “Very good camera work not showing the car behind yours.”
Kieren said: “You don’t show the gap behind your car.
“There’s probably a massive gap and you just rolled up on the van for TikTok clout.”
The backlash prompted Lauren to post a wide shot taken further back, which appeared to show a white car parked about a metre behind hers.
She said: “There’s the car behind – happy now?”
“He literally parked on my friend’s bumper. We thought it was funny she blocked her in.”
Some people were still not persuaded by the update.
Damien said: “Loads of room to get out there.”
Another said: “You’d easily get out of that space if you could drive properly.”
But others were more sympathetic.
Gary said: “See those things called bumpers – they’re on a car for this moment.”
Another person said: “That’s standard on my road.”
Lauren clarified that the roofer’s van was parked legally, and that she had left the note as a joke.

It comes after drivers in Brighton were left in stitches after a van parked on the pavement was caged in by scaffolders.
A man in Stoke also hit back at his neighbours for whingeing his caravan blocks the pavement outside his home – saying he’s been doing it for years.
