‘Mula Sa Buwan’ stars Gab Pangilinan, Myke Salomon tie the knot
Gab Pangilinan and Myke Salomon, lead stars of the musical “Mula Sa Buwan,” recently tied the knot during a beach ceremony in an undisclosed location.
The theater actors’ marriage was announced by the official Twitter account of “Mula Sa Buwan” on Monday, Feb. 20, although details about the wedding’s location and exact date were not revealed to the public.
As seen in the musical’s post, Pangilinan was spotted wearing a wedding gown adorned with flower patterns and a tulle, while Salomon donned a barong and nude pants.
“Ako ay iyo kahit saang mundo, ang aking pag-ibig ay ‘di papanaw, lahit sa dilim, pag-ibig mananatili. Congratulations, Myke and Gab, sa inyong sanlibong bukas,” the tweet read. (I’m yours, no matter where we go. My love will never die, even in moments of darkness. My love will remain. Congratulations, Myke and Gab, to your thousands of tomorrows.)

“He’s Into Her” star Donny Pangilinan, the cousin of the theater actress, took to his Instagram Stories to share glimpses of the romantic ceremony. He even posted a selfie with the blushing bride where he expressed his love for her.
Meanwhile, another cousin, Gab Valenciano, congratulated the newlyweds as he recalled some of his favorite moments during the ceremony on his personal Instagram page. To recall, Pangilinan is the cousin of Valenciano, who happens to be the son of Angeli Pangilinan and singer Gary V.
“To my dearest @gabpangilinan, know that I am extremely proud of you and the woman you have become. From us playing ‘captain captain’ by the electric organ of Lola and Lolo every Sunday and swimming in the ‘not-so-clean’ pool in antipolo almost everyday, to now being MARRIED and an elite performer and inspiration to so many,” he said.
Valenciano also welcomed Salomon to the family, and he thanked the theater actor for “welcoming her to yours.”
“And to @mykesalomon for loving my cousin with everything you are. I’ve seen how much you care and cherish Gab, above and beyond what we could have hoped for her,” Valenciano said. “And for that, I thank you brother. Welcome to the family, and thank you for welcoming her to yours.”
Salomon proposed to Pangilinan onstage shortly after the final performance of “Mula sa Buwan” in September 2022 during its final curtain call.
The theater actor pulled off a surprise proposal to Pangilinan in front of the audience and their fellow cast members shortly after their closing performance. The former, who remained in character, handed over a letter to the latter which expressed his intention to marry her.
The audience erupted into cheers as Salomon asked for the theater actress’ hand in marriage, which she eventually accepted. Hours after the romantic moment, Pangilinan took to her personal Facebook page to share her joy over getting engaged.
Salomon eventually revealed in an Instagram post that he initially planned to propose to Pangilinan at the dressing room after the show.
“Mula sa Buwan” takes inspiration from the play “Cyrano de Bergerac,” but instead is set in Manila during the 1940s. Salomon portrayed the role of World War II soldier Cyrano, while Pangilinan took on the role of his love interest, Roxanne. EDV
