Christmas is just 42 days away and one supermarket is really pushing the boat out for 2022.
M&S has just launched a new kind of fizz – perfect for toasting throughout the festive season and into the new year.
The brand has just unveiled a new edible gold leaf bubbly, named ‘Marks and Sparkle.’
Priced at £10 per bottle, the drink is made with edible 22-carat gold leaf and boasts citrus notes of peach and pear.
There’s no denying that this sparkly drink is likely to get a lot of attention this party season.
So whether you’re serving it at your Christmas event with nibbles, sipping it around the table on the big day itself, or buying it as a present for a loved one – it’s bound to be an eye-catching showstopper.
M&S also suggests serving it up alongside the Clementine Snow Globe Gin Liqueur – for an extra special Christmassy treat.
Helena Fleming, the lead product developer for festive fizz at M&S, said: ‘It’s no secret that M&S is officially the home of the best glittery drinks out there, and off the back of our super popular snow globe gins we knew we had to raise the bar with the most Instagrammable bottle of sparkly fizz.’
When news of the arrival broke on the M&S Food PR Instagram, fans could hardly contain their excitement.
One wrote: ‘Bought one for my son’s teacher’s birthday present for £10 and it looks beautiful.’
Someone else added: ‘Another Christmas bottle for the drinks trolley.’
While another chipped in: ‘This will look nice on the table.’
