It’s not a birthday, celebration – or really just a random Tuesday – without a Colin the Caterpillar cake.
And to please beloved fans, M&S have offered Colin to us in many iterations over the years – from mini Colins and packets of his face, to Colins in a jar.
And now, they’ve launched a brand new Colin the Caterpillar slushee – a frozen iced drink, perfect for the incoming summer months.
But while you might think the slushee form would be an iced-chocolate situation, you’d be wrong.
It’s actually made from 100% frozen cloudy apple juice.
While we’re not 100% sure what apple has to do with Colin’s chocolate-y goodness (although we know caterpillars do enjoy a tasty apple snack), a refreshing apple slushee is fine by us.
The new Colin slushee comes after the popularity of the Percy Pig version, which was launched last year, made from a mouth-watering mix of apple, raspberry and grape juice and churned until frozen.
Even better is the drink costs just £3, has no added sugar, and counts as one of your five a day.
It’ll be available at 170 M&S cafes across the UK so there’s a strong chance you’ll be able to try it for yourself. Colin would want you to.
The new slushies even have the stamp of approval from Olympic gold medalist boxer Nicola Adams, who was pictured enjoying one of the drinks at the launch of M&S’s new-look café in Leeds.
Other items on M&S’s summer menu include wild strawberry lemonade, a mango and coconut smoothie, an iced coffee latte or mocha.
