Molly-Mae Hague marked another parenting milestone, enjoying her first night away with new daughter Bambi.

The 23-year-old headed to London with the tot, who she welcomed into the world with partner Tommy Fury, on January 23.

As baby Bambi reached six weeks old, her Love Island star mum decided to try taking her away overnight for the first time – and luckily everything worked out well, with Molly labelling it ‘a success’.

The Pretty Little Thing creative director took to Instagram to share photos of their quick break in the capital city together, returning home on Tuesday to boxer Tommy.

Sharing a selfie of herself in a long black coat and chunky boots holding little Bambi – dressed in white – in their hotel room, she wrote: ‘First night away with my little girl. It was a success!’

The plush interior of her room, with shiny wooden panelling and a beige and neutral colour scheme, showed that they stayed in the Bulgari Hotel London in Knightsbridge – thanks to the branding of her bed’s blanket – where rooms start from around £750 a night, ranging all the way up to £5,000 for the most luxurious suites.

Molly also posted a selection of photos to her grid of the pair enjoying their time together, including a snap of her pushing Bambi in her pram while enjoying an iced coffee.

Another showed them taking in the sights of London together in a black cab, while Molly also shared pictures of her daughter lying on the bed in their hotel room, at one point next to her Chanel double flap bag.

Some people couldn’t resist criticising the new mum for sharing a photo in the back of the cab, holding Bambi up to the window rather than demonstrating that she was sitting in a car seat.

However, many fans leapt to her defence.

‘You can clearly see the car seat in the taxi ! ???? x she obviously took baby out when car was stationary,’ pointed out one.

‘Ahh see the Karens are out in force ???? nothin [sic] better to do than put a new mum down like being a new mum isn’t hard enough ????’ commented another.

Molly recently revealed that she feels like she’s been ‘winging it’ so far as a new mum.

The TV personality and influencer also admitted she was ‘surprised’ by how ‘super-challenging’ she had found it adjusting to motherhood, in a post where she was keen to reassure other new parents.

‘The last two days have been the first time I’ve felt like I’m slightly getting my life back in order,’ she admitted on Saturday night.

‘Up until this point I’ve literally just been winging my way through each day, not finding it particularly easy at all (to be honest)… waking up in the morning/going to bed at night thinking “here we go again”.’

The new mum then added that new born life is ‘absolutely no joke!’

Revealing that she could now finally start to ‘believe’ people when they told her parenting would become ‘easier’, she added: ‘I just hope this comforts any new mums/dads out there that are finding those first few weeks super challenging. I can’t explain how much they took me by surprise.

‘But it truly does gradually get easier day by day.’
