The 21-year-old has only had one full season in the Premier League with Brighton, but his performances have seen him become seriously hot property.
Arsenal had two bids for the Ecuadorian rejected in January but are now out of the running for his signature after spending over £100m on Declan Rice this summer.
Manchester United are also keen on Caicedo but it is Chelsea who are firm favourites in the race to sign him from the Seagulls.
The Ecuador international is well aware of the interest and is happy to hear of it, although he is leaving his options open and putting his faith in a higher power.
Speaking to Maria Jose Flores, Caicedo said: ‘It’s a very great emotion. What guy wouldn’t want them to be talking about him?
‘I know how to handle it. I don’t get carried away by emotions. I’m enjoying time with my family for now. There is pressure, but I am calm.
‘I am waiting for whatever God decides. He will know what is best for me.’
The transfer fee is the sticking point as Chelsea try and get a deal done, with Brighton asking for £100m for the central midfielder and the Blues refusing to meet their demands.
Caicedo only signed a new contract with Brighton in March, a deal which runs until 2027 so the Seagulls are in a good position to make high demands.
While the midfielder says he remains calm, though, he was keen to leave for Arsenal in January and is likely to push for a move again this summer, with bigger clubs coming calling again.
