Moira Dela Torre sends fans abuzz after seen hugging a guy, tells them: ‘Kumalma kayo, pareho kami ng type’

Moira Dela Torre intrigued fans after sharing a photo of herself hugging a guy whose face was not shown, but the singer-songwriter immediately dismissed speculations that he was her new beau and noted that they have the same “type.”

Through her Facebook page on Wednesday, April 12, Dela Torre gave a glimpse of her enjoying the snowy landscape along with several other companions during her recent trip to Alberta, Canada.

“So far my favorite snow day,” she captioned her post.

In one of the photos, Dela Torre can be seen in an embrace with a guy, leading netizens to speculate that the singer was in a new relationship. Some others assumed that the guy was Dela Torre’s ex-husband, Jason Marvin Hernandez, as they left “comeback” remarks in the comments section.

Dela Torre immediately addressed these speculations and clarified that the person she hugged was her manager, Mac Merla.

“Kumalma po kayo. Manager ko po yan. Pareho po kami ng type,” she said. (Please stay calm. He’s my manager and we have the same type.)

Dela Torre and Hernandez, who got married in 2019, confirmed their breakup in May last year, with the latter confessing that he had cheated on her. Dela Torre initially kept mum on the matter, but eventually broke her silence as she dismissed speculations that she had also cheated on him.

Meanwhile, Dela Torre earlier gave an update on her weight-loss progress, revealing she was declared to be “infertile” for two years and was diagnosed with an eating disorder.  /ra
