MMA star who tried cheap trick at start of fight gets instant karma in seconds
AN MMA fighter who tried a cheap trick instantly regretted it as he was smashed by an early knockout.
Dario Sinagoga took on Ash Mashreghi at Thursday’s Battlefield Fight League in Vancouver, Canada.
However, the eagerly-anticipated MMA showdown lasted just 11 seconds.
But few had much sympathy for the slightly-dubious early stoppage after Sinagoga’s antics.
At the beginning of the fight, the Irishman, 34, walked towards the middle of the octagon with his arm outreached.
It was a fake glove touch, though – a sneaky tactic frowned upon as gamesmanship to try and lure an opponent in to an early blow.

But Mashreghi was having none of it.
He grappled Sinagoga into the fence and forced him down with a flurry of punches and pushes.
And then he unleashed more unrelenting hits, prompting the referee to jump in and call off the fight and end the Bray-born ace’s unbeaten pro record.
Victorious Canadian Mashreghi, 36, celebrated by jumping up on top of the octagon.

Sinagoga was furious and felt he should have been given more time to recover.
He quoted Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu on Instagram and added: “It’s not over until I say it’s over.
“Thank you to all who came to see me perform, sadly I was denied the right but I love you still.”
But fans poured into the comments section to slam his “clown show” behaviour – and insisted he got what he deserved with the early KO.
One said: “Dirty scum a fake glove touch shows a total lack of being a decent fighter and human, glad he got his punishment.”
Another wrote: “Brave but foolish.”
And a third added: “Has the fake touch ever worked?”
