Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters is now a mom of two after givng birth to her second child with her husband, Camarines Sur Rep. Migz Villafuerte.
Peters announced her new milestone by showing a video of her firstborn Kaia holding her baby brother, through the beauty queen’s Instagram page on Saturday, July 22.
“Our darling boy is here and our hearts [and] home are so full of love,” she said in the caption.
In the video, Peters can be heard in the background as she asked Kaia the name of the newborn.
“Baby Andres,” Kaia repeated after her mom.
Villafuerte, for his part, expressed his appreciation for his wife and described her as a “champion mom.”
“Thank you Lord! [Rachel] is a champion mom!” he stated. “From [nine] months of carrying this little one to smiling and laughing in between pushes. You’re the best.”
“Excited to be a girl and boy dad now,” he added.
Fans and fellow celebrities including Anne Curtis, Katarina Rodriguez and Nadine Samonte then filled the comments section with congratulatory greetings.

Peters and Villafuerte tied the knot in a civil ceremony in July 2021, then welcomed Kaia in October of the same year. The couple announced the beauty queen’s second pregnancy last January. EDV
