Minecraft Live 2022: From Batman to Legends, Here’s Everything Announced at Mojang’s Latest Event
Mojang recently hosted another Minecraft Live livestream to showcase upcoming features and additions to its world in the near future.
The event saw announcements regarding a plethora of entities including Minecraft and Minecraft Legends, with the former receiving juicy details about the long-awaited Update 1.20.

While the developers refused to divulge anything about Update 1.20’s name, Minecraft users did receive some information in the form of new mobs in camels. Other than that, the update will also sees the introduction of hanging signs, chiseled bookshelves, and crafting with bamboo. Sounds like a yes to me.
Other than that, Mojang also announced that Minecraft Steve and Alex will be receiving new friends on November 29 in the form of seven new default skins named: Makena, Efe, Noor, Kai, Ari, Sunny, and Zuri.
Minecraft Legends fans also received a much-needed update with regards to its release date, as the developers confirmed a Spring 2023 release date along with a new cinematic trailer and gameplay demo footage of 4 player co-op.

Minecraft Dungeons will also be undergoing a Halloween makeover with the Hungriest Horror Armor set and the free Cloaked Armor Set being available on the Marketplace. Moreover, the developers also shared a sneak peek at the game’s upcoming multiplayer mode for the Tower. Mojang further revealed that a bunch of new flairs, pets, skins, emotes, and free content will be up for grabs as well.
Finally, fans might want to take a gander at the Minecraft Marketplace which will be filled with Batman items, as part of a new DLC. Players will be able to explore some of the character’s iconic locations like the Batcave, Wayne Tower, and the Monarch Theater. Plus, you will also get a chance to battle it out against some of the Dark Knight’s rogues like the Penguin, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and more, when they arrive on October 18,
