Pluto TV is a free internet-based streaming platform that anyone can access from their laptop or smartphone.

But this latest change means you can watch it directly from the comfort of your sofa on your living room TV.

The channels include a mix of drama, news, sport, entertainment and kids’ programmes.

Among them is The Drew Barrymore Show, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and a 5 Cops channel featuring the best of Channel 5’s ‘blue light’ series, such as Police Interceptors and Motorway Cops.

Like any free TV streamer, it includes ads.

Pluto TV has been added to all Virgin TV 360 and Stream boxes at no extra cost.

David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, said: “Virgin TV brings together fantastic programming and popular apps that we know our customers will love.

“With Pluto TV now available on Virgin TV 360 and Stream, our customers can tune into even more unmissable entertainment.”

If you don’t have Virgin Media or the correct boxes, not to worry.

There are other ways you can take advantage of Pluto TV.

Some smart TVs like Samsung offer the Pluto TV app – check the apps on your set to see if it’s available.

Pluto TV is also on Fire TV stick devices, so if you have one of them you can download the app and watch on that too.
