Leaked screenshots show a slight revamp to the built-in camera interface.

Photo and video modes have been completely separated to make things easier.

At the moment, it’s all in one place, requiring you to tap to take a photo or hold the button to record.

But as some users will have noticed, it can be a bit awkward recording a video this way.

So with this new take on things, you can hit record once without keeping hold of the button.

The change was first spotted by WABetaInfo.

Early testers have had a play with it but there’s no word on when it’ll be rolled out as a full public release.

As with many of the leaked new features, they may well not launch fully at all.

We’ll have to wait and see.

Follow our guide below to get all of the new WhatsApp features first.
