What lands on your telly screens will also depend on where you are in the UK.

From midday today, the GREAT! network of channels is changing its availability on Freeview.

Until now, the company has held three channel numbers for GREAT! tv, GREAT! Romance and kids channel POP on the free service.

The main GREAT! tv channel has already gone national on number 50 as of last month.

It had held onto its old slot too for a little while longer in some parts, easing fans into the change.

But from this afternoon, it’ll go dark.

Elsewhere, GREAT! Romance is apparently becoming more widely available.

According to RXTVInfo, the channel is also moving to a national Freeview slot on July 19, at number 52.

Unfortunately it’ll all come at the expense of sister channel POP.

The kids station will have its coverage reduced in some areas.

However, a lot of it is available on demand instead.

To find out if you’re affected, check channels 7 or 8 on July 19.

If you see a local channel after retuning, you should still receive POP.
