Mike Tindall’s I’m A Celeb ‘struggles’ over Matt Hancock shared by pal
Mike Tindall, 44, has proven himself to be a fearless competitor on I’m A Celebrity, even though he hasn’t done many Bushtucker Trials yet. His colleague and good friend, Alex Payne, claims he knows the star is “getting bored” as the series is becoming “the Matt Hancock show”, and that the Royal Family member has used most of his “party pieces” too soon.
Mike, along with Alex and James Haskell, hosts The Good, The Bad and The Rugby podcast when he isn’t in the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
In the most recent episode, Alex sat down with rugby union player Jack Nowell to discuss a variety of topics.
One of which was “Tins’” appearance on I’m A Celebrity.
The pair both agreed that watching the show feels “different” when they personally know someone inside the jungle.

Jack added that “the problem” with celebrity reality shows is that often what a contestant says can be misconstrued or misinterpreted by viewers.
However, he highlighted that this is not a problem for Mike.
He continued: “Watching him, it’s exactly how he is. You can tell that everybody in the jungle loves him as well.”
While Mike is yet to be voted by viewers to compete in a gruesome Bushtuker Trial, Alex noted his main concern for the former rugby player is over the star being out of party tricks.

He revealed: “He fired out both raps and he nailed it but he did both on the first show and those are pretty much his three party pieces.
“He may have to rap again in week two to kind of reinvigorate the vote.”
Jack admitted that although he doesn’t usually tune into the reality show, he has been watching most nights, especially for Mike and his now iconic “budgie smuggler” swimming shorts.
He said: “I was certainly watching it when he was wearing his budgies. I love budgies. I think anyone who wears budgies is good.
