Midfielder wants to ‘relive’ goalscoring heroics in London derby

MILLWALL youngster Tyler Burey has admitted he wants to “relive” the moment of scoring his goal against QPR.

Burey scored his first goal for the club after coming on as a substitute for an injured Oliver Burke.

The 21-year-old doubled the Lions lead over the promotion-chasing QPR with a tidy finish past David Marshall.

Speaking about the goal, Burey told the club’s website: “It’s an experience I want to relive! It was just great. My emotions were high. It was good to get on and take my chance.

“It was the only big chance I had in the game.

“It was good to score and get the most time I’ve had out on the pitch.

“I got the ball and took a touch – I knew where I was gonna put it; that far corner.

“I do it every day in training, I knew where I was going to shoot before I received the ball.”

Burey has been part of the last seven matchday squads and made sure to take his chance in the London derby.

He said: “I was ready and prepared. I’ve been on the bench a lot, so I knew I had to be ready whenever I got the call.

“When it’s your time, it’s your time.”
