Michael J Fox, 61, was just 29 when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991, with the Hollywood star keeping his diagnosis quiet for seven years.
The Back to the Future star has now released the first trailer for his STILL documentary, with Michael sharing an insight into the early days of his diagnosis.
The trailer opens showing Michael with a clipboard as he introduces the film, with the comment: “The story of me, take two.”
A voice is then heard, asking Michael the question: “What did it mean to be STILL?”
Michael replied: “I wouldn’t know I was never still.”

The trailer then showed a variety of clips from Michael’s very successful career, including clips from his work on Back to the Future and Teen Wolf.
Michael then remarked: “I get it, I was big, I was bigger than bubblegum.”
The trailer then gave fans an insight into the early days of Michael’s Parkinson’s diagnosis as he recalled losing the feeling in his pinky finger, before revealing his wife’s response to the devastating news.
He said: “I woke up and I noticed my pinky, automated, Parkinson’s disease.
“I told Tracy the news, ‘in sickness and in health’ I remember her whispering.
“No one outside my family knew. There was only one reason I took these pills, to hide.
“But all of this hiding was shaking me away. To deny that part of me that wants to continue to go on and do things is to quit.
“So this is who I am. I’m a tough son of a b***h.”
The trailer then ends with a voiceover, of a gentleman, saying to Michael: “The sad, sad story is Michael J Fox gets a debilitating disease and it crushes him.”
The Back to the Future star then quipped: “Yeah, that’s boring.”
Michael has had a very successful Hollywood career, making a name for himself on the NBC hit Family Ties, winning him three consecutive Emmys for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
He took home his fourth Emmy in 2000, also for Lead Actor in a Comedy, for his final season as Spin City’s Deputy Mayor Mike Flaherty.
He is perhaps most known, however, for playing Marty McFly in the Back to the Future trilogy.
Other credits include Teen Wolf, The Secret of My Success, Casualties of War, Doc Hollywood, The Frighteners and Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
