Metroid Dread Nintendo Switch India Price and Release Date Revealed, Pre-Orders Live Now
The game, revealed earlier this year during a Nintendo Direct presentation, is a direct sequel to 2002’s Metroid Fusion. It also marks the first 2D adventure for Samus since that game, making it a lengthy 19 years of wait for longtime fans of the 2D Metroid games.
IGN’s Kat Bailey recently had a chance to play the game’s opening hours for a preview, during which she noted that it “as a wonderful reminder that the atmosphere that has long made Metroid so special is alive and well.”
It’s nice to see the game making its way to Indian store shelves without any extended delay, with Switch owners in the country being able to enjoy more games without much issue as Nintendo continues to not provide any official support.
Metroid Dread releases on October 8, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch. Mcube Games will start shipping the game between October 13-15, 2021, the same week as Nintendo Switch OLED’s release in India.
