“I really overdid it, but the pain was overwhelming. Eventually, my skin started to bruise, and by now I was terrified.”
Sarah went public with her cancer battle in August last year.
At the time, the blonde beauty shared a selfie from her hospital bed on Instatgram.
As part of a lenghty statement, she wrote: “Earlier this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and a couple of weeks ago I received the devastating news that the cancer has advanced to other parts of my body.
“I’m currently undergoing weekly chemotherapy sessions and I am fighting as hard as I possibly can.”
Following the singer’s death, Dr Zoe Williams discussed just how important it was for people to familiarise with their breasts and raise any concerns as early as possible.
She stressed that if an unusual change has lasted for more than two weeks, it’s crucial to get it looked at by a GP.
Unusual changes could include a lump, skin changes as well as any abnormal pain.
