Meghan Markle wears necklace symbolising ‘peace’ to visit a youth group

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry travelled to Santa Barbara on a visit to discuss the impact of social media on teens and their mental health.

The Duchess looked paired back but chic in a black ensemble. She wore a black sweater and knee-length skirt for the trip.

Around her wrist, she wore a number of bracelets and Princess Diana’s gold Cartier watch.

She may have been wearing her £15,000 wedding gift from Prince Charles, too, a diamond tennis bracelet.

On her little figure, she wore a Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring, estimated to be worth $62,000.

The couple documented the visit on their Archwell blog. The post read: “In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently visited with a local youth group, AHA! Santa Barbara, to learn firsthand about this generation’s experiences with social media and societal pressures, and how it affects their mental well-being.

“The couple engaged with these amazing youth in candid conversation, working to find solutions together.”

Around her neck, the Duchess wore a necklace with a special message, which she wore in public the day after King Charles III’s coronation.

It was made by Meghan’s friend and former Suits costume designer Abigail Spencer in collaboration with May Brenner.

The necklace has a special message about allowing the wearer to “let go of anything that’s not working” and “protect (their) peace”.

The brand says: “The Clarity Retreat Necklace is just the thing to help you see your way through any challenges.

“It’s meant to help you manifest what you want in life and let go of anything that’s not working. A subtle wearable crystal piece to protect your peace…so every day can be your retreat.”

Meghan’s Cartier “Tank Francaise” in gold, costs $24,300. But, Meghan’s version of this watch is likely priceless, as it is an heirloom that once belonged to Princess Diana.

Before inheriting this gold piece the then-actress bought her own less expensive version.

In 2015 Meghan told Hello! she bought a $6,050 steel and gold Cartier watch for herself, engraved with the message “To M.M. From M.M.” She claimed she had bought the watch to one day leave to a daughter.
