Meghan Markle spotted ‘looking all business’ in her ‘signature style’

As both an actress and a Duchess, Meghan Markle has always been stylish and on the pulse of what is hot.

Personal stylist, personal shopper and image coach Melissa Lund spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about Meghan’s style, including the “signature” look that she loves.

Melissa isn’t a fan of garish, out there looks on the Duchess, but rather prefers simple pieces with neutral colours and great tailoring.

She said: “I love Meghan in slim fitting clothes in neutral colours. I think it’s when things get too busy that she’s in danger of having the clothes wear her, instead of the other way around.

“She looks great in clothes which are cut close to the body – a sheath dress, slim pants, a tailored blazer or coat.”

Melissa said: “Camel coats have become a signature style for Meghan and she often wears MaxMara which is known for its camel coats.

“A slim and straight style works well for her, with the length hovering around the knee.”

But she offered a tip for the royal fashionista to elevate her look further: “If she wants to wear a longer style, it looks best with a tightly cinched waist.”

In October 2019, Meghan and Harry attended the WellChild Awards, with Meghan donning a forest green dress and camel coat.

Melissa’s verdict was that this made for a “nice colour combination and elegant, simple shapes”.

In September 2021, Meghan stepped out “looking all business” in New York wearing a black dress with a camel coat and neutral accessories.

Melissa Lund is an image coach, personal stylist and personal shopper. She also spoke to Express.co.uk about another iconic Meghan style moment – “if you’ve got legs like that, why not?”.
