Meghan Markle eyeing Hollywood return? ‘Knack for getting what she wants’

Meghan Markle may be envisioning building an Oprah-like empire, some experts say.

Christopher Andersen, author of “The King,” told Fox News Digital on Wednesday that the 41-year-old estranged royal is all-systems go on becoming a “power player” in Tinseltown after signing with esteemed entertainment agency WME.

“If Meghan doesn’t end up hosting a daytime syndicated talk show, I’ll be surprised,” Andersen told the outlet. “She certainly seems well-suited to that role in particular, and I can easily see her pursuing a career path similar to Oprah’s in the media: a show, a magazine, producing, directing — the works.

“She still has a sizeable chunk of the viewing public in her corner,” he added.

The news of Markle’s signing comes after Page Six reported that she and her husband, Prince Harry, 38, have been spotted more often in Hollywood in recent months.

While Markle and her team may be looking to land film and TV production gigs, brand partnerships, and “overall business-building,” Variety added, “acting will not be an area of focus.”

The outlet also reported that many Hollywood agencies attempted to add the former “Suits” actress to their representation roster when she and Harry relocated from the UK to California in 2020.

WME will also represent Archewell, Markle’s content creation label, which she launched alongside Harry.

Her WME team will include Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel, plus Brad Slater and Jill Smoller, who famously represents Markle’s friend, Serena Williams.

British royals expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital that Markle has her work cut out for her if her projects don’t involve the royal family.

“What does sell? Anything royal,” she claimed. “So what we can bank on is that connection being leveraged in some manner.”

Andersen, meanwhile, predicts: “Once all the controversy surrounding the Sussexes’ ongoing feud with the rest of the royal family dies down, assuming it ever does, I could easily see her launching a successful talk show.”

“Meghan has always had her fingers in a lot of pies, and she has a knack for getting what she wants. Millions of girls dream of becoming a princess, but she made it happen — and against all odds to boot!” he continued.

“Becoming the next Oprah [Winfrey] — a powerful and influential media mogul — does not feel far-fetched at all.”

The Post has contacted reps for Markle and Andersen for comment.

Harry and Meghan famously sat down with Winfrey, 69, for an explosive tell-all interview in March 2021.

The UK’s Daily Telegraph recently reported that Markle wrote a letter to her father-in-law, King Charles III, following the Oprah chat, detailing her allegations about concerns within the royal family about the color of Archie’s skin.

Markle is slated to miss Charles’ coronation on Saturday, as it is Archie’s 4th birthday.

Prince Harry is expected to briefly attend — and rush home for Archie’s “intimate party.”
