Meghan and Harry hold hands – ‘under no obligation to follow protocol’
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left Westminster Hall on Wednesday hand in hand, which was a striking contrast to the other royal couples who did not hold hands. Why do the Duke and Duchess of Sussex feel a need to hold hands so much in public?
Inbaal Honigman, a celebrity psychic and body language expert, spoke to Express.co.uk to explain why.
She spoke about Prince William’s role as the Prince of Wales and why he has to be more aware of royal protocol.
Inbaal commented: “William is there in a public capacity. He may have just lost his grandmother, but his job, as the eldest son of the King, is more important right now, than his grief.
“William and Kate are not holding hands,” the body language expert noted.
Why was this?
Inbaal explained: “They’re working members of the Royal Family, and are sticking to protocol.
“King Charles III and the Queen Consort didn’t hold hands walking into Westminster Hall either.”
Why do Harry and Meghan ignore the supposed protocols about hand-holding?
