Carlo Aquino intrigued fans as he advised the public to not meddle with other people’s “personal lives,” days after confirming he is dating actress Charlie Dizon.

The actor showed photos of himself taken by photographer Joshen Vahn Lee, along with a quote from the classic film “The Godfather,” through his Instagram page on Saturday, Jan. 7.

“Don’t involve yourself in other people’s personal lives,” Aquino said.

While the actor did not immediately elaborate on his post, it can be noted that it came after he made public his dating status with Dizon through an interview with ABS-CBN reporter MJ Felipe.

Aquino responded affirmatively when asked if he and Dizon are “going out,” admitting that he spent the New Year with his family and the actress.

“Nagkasama kami sa ‘A Soldier’s Heart,’” Aquino said in the interview, referring to the 2020 TV series. “Nagkakilala kami do’n. Tapos nag-U.S. tour, mas nakilala ko siya. Pag-uwi, ayon [tuloy-tuloy na].”

Speculations of a budding romance between Aquino and Dizon first came out in late December after they were seen on a “holiday dinner” and were pictured sitting very close to each other, with their hands on the other’s lap. Earlier this year, the actors were then spotted in La Union together with Aquino’s family.

Aquino’s last known public relationship was with model-vlogger Trina Candaza, with whom he has 2-year-old daughter Mithi. Aquino and Candaza broke up last year after being in a relationship for three years. EDV
